I want to emphasize repeatedly that the exercise, vegetables, adequate sleep, avoiding tobacco is also an essential part of staying young.

There are anti-aging supplements galore: vitamins, berry extracts, anything you can imagine, but if a single nutritional supplement you take, then the omega-3.

Scientists know that omega-3 essential for the healthy development of brain cells and tissues since the year 1930.

Why supplement?

Unfortunately, what we eat today is not like what our grandparents to eat. Our modern diet is full of saturated fats, trans fats, and even the majority of polyunsaturated fatty acids that we consume the omega-6, not omega-3.

Omega 6 fats from omega-3

Omega-6 are present in vegetable oils like palm oil, soybean. These fats promote inflammation while omega 3 are anti-inflammatory. Around the same time, scientists have discovered that processed foods like cookies and cakes can be kept fresh longer by removing the omega-3, and using hydrogenated vegetable oil, thus aggravating the problem by eliminating Omega 3, and the introduction of trans fat, a byproduct of the hydrogenation, in our food!

Consume more omega 3 and omega 6 Less! Eat fish at least 3 times a week, and supplement your meal with lots of leafy vegetables like spinach and Choi sum (omega-3 are present in the leaves of vegetables, while omega-6 is found in seeds ).

Eat less processed foods – cookies, cakes, snack packs, and especially fast food.

Use canola and olive oil, which is an omega 3 and omega-6 ratio respectable for cooking instead of oil palm, corn, soybean or sunflower oil.

Over time, these symptoms are not considered at all, but most people thought they were only part of the aging process, something we can not avoid. There are two main factors in reducing the effects of the metabolic syndrome – nutrition and exercise. Diet, here, not reduce calories. Your body needs a certain amount of calories each day to work properly – usually around 1500-2200, depending on body type, construction and gender. It’s time to cut out all processed foods that fill your pantry and stop at the restaurant. Focus on healthy eating 80% of the time and experience a great improvement in their body.
